Your Form 4 wait time

I e-filed two form 4 NFA trusts on April 1st. Still waiting. Who else is stuck in ATF purgatory?

While not an e-file I filed papers for an OSS can in Feb 2021 and it came through in October almost exactly 8 months.

Submitted 3 Paper form 4’s last year. Door to door wait times were between 12 and 13 months. This was done before the rollout of efile form 4’s.

I had a form 4 approved on Feb 21 and received an email.

I had another one I have been waiting on which was approved but an email didn't go out to my FFL nor me. When checking the ATF eforms site, the status links aren't working. I spent 30 minutes waiting on the phone and learned that the in progress form 4 had actually been approved on Feb 3 but the system wasn't sending emails. My FFL didn't receive an email. either.

If you're waiting and it seems like you should have been approved, it is probably time to call the ATF. Make sure to have your serial or control number ready.
