Great story on getting your food preps started
#1
I'd suggest starting with a goal of three months and then ramping up in three month intervals. Even in an apartment, one can find a way to store food supplies.

Think about other things that you may be able to trade in an emergency, like flats of drinking water, ammo, seeds and even toilet paper.

Get input from each family member on what foods to store. Are there allergies or other food restrictions?
