Heavy and slow is the best way to meet a power factor for ICORE competition.
I've been playing around with 158gn LRN with a goal of 760fps to meet the 120pf required.
So far I've made 760fps with 3.8 of Win 231, also 3.5gn Titegroup.
The groups of both of these at just 10 yards were atrocious. Like 4-5in groups from a seated and braced position. Tried them with both a S&W Mod64 4in and 686 6in
I've considered going with Bayou coated 160gn RN going forward. Anyone have good luck with these? Should I try a slower powder such as HS6?
